Common questions about prevention Pest Control in Residential property and Commercial
The basic way is spraying the skirting board with a chemical called CAS, which kills cockroaches, ants and spiders. This is used both inside and outside of the property. Insects will crawl over it and it gets in their digestive system which kills them.
Ideally, this should be done yearly. Some places require every 6 months if they a prone to more pests.
For an average size property, it will cost around $100.
An average size property will usually take less than 30 minutes to complete.
During summer it is generally a lot worse for pests. This is because ants, cockroaches and spiders tend to be more active during the summer months.
During winter your not going to have as many pests but because it is very cheap and effective, people often get it done in both summer and winter. Although if you only get a yearly pest spray, it is best to get it done at the start of summer because that’s when the insects are most active and hatching.
